Shipping, Return, and Exchange Policies



Credit Card Policy -
Your card will be charged at the time you place your order. If you decide to cancel an order before it is shipped, we will give you a 100% refund.

Privacy Policy -
Rlights.com will never sell, trade or rent your personal information unless required by law to do so.  By using our Web site, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Reliance Lighting.

Returns & Exchanges -

If a product arrives damaged/defective you may request the needed parts/replacement under the My Account section of RLights.com.  If any damages occur, you will not be held liable for any shipping charges back to us so long as the damage is reported within 7 days of receipt of order.   Failure to report damages in a timely manner may result in the freight carrier refusing to pay for damages.   In the event this happens RLights.com is not liable for the damages.   It is important that you do not refuse shipment on any item.   All Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA's)for online orders must be done online.   If your order was not placed online you may request an RMA by contacting Rlights.com at 1-877-874-1250.  Rlights.com will issue replacement product after damaged/defective product is returned.  The product must be returned in its original condition with all parts intact, and must be in the manufacturer's original box.  

If you want to return a product for any other reason withing 90 days, you may request this under the My Account section of RLights.com.   A product may be returned for a store credit, in which case there is no restocking fee.  All other returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.  RLights.com will not issue credit for any product returned without prior authorization or for a product that has been installed.  Some special order items can not be returned. If you do a credit card chargeback on any order from us, you will receive an invoice which if not paid will be sent to a collection agency and be reported as derogatory to the credit bureaus.

Shipping Times -
Items that have an approximate shipping time of 24 hours are items that are in stock at our warehouse. The 24 hours refers to the time from when you place your order to when we can get it shipped out to you. Most in stock orders placed before 3 p.m. MST are shipped out the same day. Items that have an approximate shipping time of 2 or more weeks are items that are not in stock and will have to be ordered in from the manufacturer. Often these products do get shipped out before the estimated time, but as RLights.com has no control over the manufacturers, we cannot guarantee the shipping time of these items. The estimated shipping time is what we have found as an average amount of time it takes for us to get the items from the manufacturer and ship it to you. If an item is taking too long to arrive, you can always cancel your order and receive a complete refund as long as the item hasn't shipped. You can look under My Account to see which items have shipped and which items we're still waiting for.

RLights.com ships most orders via Fed-Ex ground, although some large items such as chandeliers may be shipped on a freight truck. This can take anywhere from 3 to 5 business days from when we ship it depending on where you are located. If you need expedited shipping, you can call us at 1-877-874-1250 to arrange for it. The additional cost is determined on a per-order basis.

International orders will either need to call or email us in advance to get shipping costs.

Pricing Errors -
Due to human error, our site may list an occasional incorrect price. While we make every effort to ensure these mistakes do not happen, Rlights.com will not honor incorrect prices. In the event an error is found, we will inform the customer before the order is shipped. At that time the customer will have the option to place the order with the correct pricing, or to cancel the items with incorrect pricing.

Sales Tax -
Sales Tax will be added to your order if shipped to the state of  Utah.
